Resitant Metal Alloys is a manufacturer and supplier of AISI 8620 fasteners in metric and imperial sizes. These alloy steel fasteners are used for high tensile applications in sectors of marine engineering, shipbuilding and repair, structural construction, automotives and oil & gas extraction platforms. Unlike AISI 4140 and 4340, 8620 is not quite common choice for regular bolting. However AISI 8620 is still on list of bolting material for some service critical applications. Most of consigment of 8620 alloy steel bolting are hot forged or bar machined. AISI 8620 fasteners are not available ex-stock and must be made to order with minimum lead time of 3 weeks.
